We left the immediate care center just as the snow began coming down.
He had the flu and I had contracted one of the other "undetectable" bugs floating around out there....
Both of our fevers eventually broke...
as the waffle iron, coffee maker, and Kleenex boxes made of themselves our very best friends
Outside the world turned white...
...and things fell silent, for the shortest of moments.
How quickly the world begins buzzing again...

ReplyDeleteI love this little unwinding story of life with a baby in the snow...and the end. Yes how can the world start buzzing so quickly again? But it does. Reminds me of many many days when the kiddos were little...Hope you're feeling hale and heart now and have a fabulous weekend
